Altitude have released the trailer for THE VOICE OF HIND RAJAB, from Academy Award nominated writer and director, Kaouther Ben Hania (Four Daughters, The Man Who Sold His Skin) coming to UK and Irish cinemas on 16 January 2026.
January 29, 2024. Red Crescent volunteers receive an emergency call. A 5-year old girl is trapped in a car under fire in Gaza, pleading for rescue. While trying to keep her on the line, they do everything they can to get an ambulance to her. Her name was Hind Rajab.
Featuring an all-Palestinian cast of Saja Kilani, Motaz Malhees, Amer Hlehel, and Clara Khoury, Ben Hania has created a gripping drama and deeply emotional elegy that honours Hind’s voice while demanding the world never forget.
The film will have special preview screenings across the UK and Ireland in select cinemas from 28 November to coincide with International Day of Solidarity With The Palestinian People on 29 November.
THE VOICE OF HIND RAJAB had its world premiere at the Venice Film Festival where it won the Silver Lion Grand Jury Prize and has subsequently won more than 12 awards at film festivals worldwide to date. The film has also been selected by Tunisia as its official entry for Best International Feature Film at the Academy Awards.
The film will also screen at the United Nations Headquarters in New York on 4 December, organised by the Committee on the Exercise of the Inalienable Rights of the Palestinian People (CEIRPP), followed by a panel discussion with Ben Hania, actor Amer Hlehel, and producer James Wilson.
