The highly anticipated prequel to the 2022 blockbuster Kantara sets the stage for an
epic mythological journey.
London, UK – September 22, 2025 – Hombale Films has unveiled the official
trailer for its much-awaited film Kantara A Lengend Chapter 1, released in seven
different languages, including Kannada, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam,
Bengali and English today, in anticipation of the film’s UK premiere on 1st
October 2025. Laughing Water Entertainment is distributing the film with a UK
wide theatrical release on 2nd October 2025.

the grand prequel to the 2022 blockbuster Kantara. Written by Rishab Shetty,
Anirudh Mahesh, Shanil Guru the film will transport audiences to the 4th Century
AD exploring the sacred origins of the mystical land called Kantara and of
Kaadubettu Shiva during the Kadamba dynasty era. This chapter will delve deeper
into the mythology, conflicts and divine interventions that shaped the events of the
first film, offering an even richer and more immersive cinematic experience with
