Shah Rukh Khan and Atlee’s latest release’ Jawan’ has finally entered the Rs1000 crore club worldwide! By 25th September, the film had reached this record number. ‘Jawan’ also surpassed the box office collection of ‘Pathaan in India. SRK’s film continues to be a success in the theatres and remains unstoppable at the box office even in its third week.
‘Jawan’ was released in theatres on September 7 amid much fanfare. Fans are excited to see King Khan return to the big screen after ‘Pathaan’. Many theatres gathered in large numbers to watch the first screening on the first day and danced to his songs. Others even burst crackers outside the cinema hall. Star SRK is setting the box office on fire every day. The film went on to witness the biggest opening day in the history of Hindi cinema reaching Rs 129.06 crore worldwide.
According to trade reports, on September 19, 22, ‘Jawan’ earned Rs 5.30 crore nett in India. Thus, the total collection in India now stands at a whopping Rs 566.08 crore. The film is currently eyeing the Rs 600 million mark in India. The film also beat ‘Pathaan”s lifetime net collection of Rs 543 crore.
Meanwhile, in the global collections, ‘Jawan’ has finally crossed the coveted Rs 1,000 crore figure. It earned a total of Rs 1004.92 crore in 19 days. The official Instagram account of Red Chillies shared the news with fans with a special video featuring Shah Rukh Khan.
