Shah Rukh Khan returns to the playhouses after four long times with Pathaan and he reveals that he’s realising his 32- time-long dream of being an out-and-out action idol on the big screen! In a videotape released by the directors, of Yash Raj flicks, SRK says, “ I came to the film assiduity 32 times ago to be an action idol but I missed the boat because they made me a romantic idol rather. I have only wanted to be an action idol.
I mean I love DDLJ and I love Rahul and Raj and all these good sweet boys but I always allowed
I was an action idol, so for me, it’s it’s my dream come true. ” About his character in Pathaan, the megastar reveals, “ Pathaan is an easy job, doing a lot of tough effects and I suppose he is mischievous, he is tough but does not wear it on his sleeve. He is trusting.
He is honest and I suppose he veritably single-mindedly thinks of India as his mama. ” SRK is teaming up with the gorgeous Deepika Padukone in Pathaan. He and Deepika are one of the biggest on-screen pairings in the history of Indian cinema given their grand blockbusters Om Shanti Om, Chennai Express and Happy New Year.
About DP and her impact in Pathaan, Shah Rukh says, “ You need someone of the elevation of Deepika to be suitable to pull off a song sequence like Besharam Rang and also you know, to be suitable to do action, where she takes a joe and pulls him right over herself and beats him, she’s tough enough to do that too. That kind of combination could have only been achieved with someone like Deepika.
It’s quite a layered character for an action film heroine so to speak. ” Pathaan is part of Aditya Chopra’s ambitious asset macrocosm and has the biggest stars of the country Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone and John Abraham in it. YRF’s adrenaline-pumping film, Pathaan, is set to release on Jan 25, 2023, in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. The hype around Pathaan is unknown.
All the means of the film that YRF has released so far have turned out to be super-hits right from the teaser, the two songs- Besharam Rang & Jhoome Jo Pathaan- and the lately dropped caravan that has caused an internet meltdown!
