Directed by debut filmmaker Arun Gopalan, Tehran is inspired by true events and reimagines the 2012 bomb explosion near the Israeli Embassy in Delhi.

For his role, John Abraham even prepared extensively in Hebrew, turning to an unlikely source, former Chelsea Football Club coach Avram Grant, for guidance on pronunciation.
