The upcoming Bollywood film “OMG 2” starring Akshay Kumar and Yami Gautam has been making headlines recently, and not just for its star-studded cast. A recent leak suggests that the film’s plot might revolve around the sensitive subject of homophobia and the importance of sex education in Indian schools.
According to the leaked plot, the film is said to tell the story of a gay boy who experiences bullying in college and tragically takes his own life. This event prompts a college professor, played by Pankaj Tripathi, to advocate for compulsory sex education in schools to reduce bullying and promote understanding.
The film, directed by Amit Rai, has already stirred controversy for a scene featuring Lord Shiva being anointed with water from a railway pipe. This scene has led to the Censor Board of Film Certification (CBFC) refusing to certify the film and sending it to the review committee.
Despite the controversy, the film’s trailer and character posters have generated a buzz among fans. Akshay Kumar’s portrayal of Lord Shiva in the film has been particularly talked about. The film is set to release on August 11, 2023.
However, it’s important to note that these plot details are based on an anonymous leak and have not been officially confirmed by the film’s team. If true, “OMG 2” could be a bold step forward in addressing social issues through mainstream cinema.
